The Rock Christian School

The Rock Christian School is a ministry of The Rock Church and World Outreach Center for children from Kindergarten through 12th Grade,  Our school provides a loving environment that is safe and well- supervised by our well-trained staff.  We take pride in helping each child feel comfortable and able to focus and learn in our family-style environment.  Our class sizes are designed to give each child an opportunity to participate in active learning.

 

A Beka Book & ACE are built on a scriptural foundation for academic excellence for training good character.  Our Christian school benefits from their treasury of textbooks and teaching materials that reflect the very best in traditional education, comprehensive curriculum, and Scriptural truths.

2017-2018 Schedules & Prices

August 22, 2017 - May 24, 2018
Regular School Schedule is Monday-Friday 9:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Registration fee is $100 ($75 for Returning Family & $50 for returning family who registers by 4/29/17)

Tuition Fee is as follows:
K-6 $5,300 per year

  • 10 Month installment: $530/mo
  • 12 Month installment: $442/mo

7th-12th $5,500 per year

  • 10 Month installment: $550/mo
  • 12 Month installment: $459/mo
  • 5% discount to Members of The Rock
  • Additional 5% discount for paying in full by August 28, 2017
  • Book Fee (yearly)

    • Kindergarten: $115
    • Grades 1-8: $225
    • Grades 9-12: $325

    Before Care: For an additional $90/mo your child may be dropped off as early as 6:30 a.m. Occasional need is $5/hr.

    After Care: For an additional $90/mo your child may be picked up as late as 6:00 p.m. Occasional need is $5/hr.

    Both: $160/mo for before and after care combined.

    Our Curriculum

    We believe in a strong Christian approach to education. Each day begins with prayer, praise, and God’s Word.  This provides the foundation for a successful day of learning.  Each academic subject is filled with challenging lessons written and developed by the A Beka Book publishers for Grades K-8 and A Beka & ACE for Grades 7-12. 

    Our well-trained teachers along with the following activities, make The Rock Christian School an inviting place for children to learn and grow.

    Vital Components (What is included?)

    Each day, the curriculum is presented so each child can experience a wide variety of age-appropriate activities. These activities include the following:

    • Daily Bible Study and Memorization
    • Advanced Curriculum: Our curriculum is based on the national standards for education.
    • Online Access: RenWeb program allows parents and students to stay connected with assignments, attendance, grades, and more..
    • Standardized Testing: All students participate in the Stanford 10 Test which ranks your child on a national level.
    • Hot, Nutritious Lunch: Available but not Included in tuition cost.
    • Parent/Teacher Conferences: Parents receive two formal conferences each year. Teachers are always available for informal talks during the year.
    • Student Success Team (SST): TRCS offers individualized plans for education to those students who are behind or above the grade level.
    • Performances & Assemblies: Children participate in Holiday, Graduation, and Awards assemblies.
    • Field Trips: Various field trips are planned to such places as: Science Museums, dramatic performances, theme parks, and pumpkin patches.
    • Before/After School Care: Homework help, special projects, and extra-curricular learning with snacks.
    • Daily PE: Daily Activities include sports, timed exercise tests, and the mile run.
